GTM Data Quality Steward
The Data, platforms and integrations (DP&I) team is a E2E data oriented team consisting of Data stewards, platform managers and Data Quality Specialists. All these roles work together to get our marketing data for both medical and commercial in optimal shape.
As a Global Data Quality Steward, your role is defined as a coordinating role between capability owners, business stakeholders in regions and countries and IT.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Draw data models and data flows that describe and explain the data architecture and data integration
- Explain data flows (in English) to as well business as IT. Your role is orchestrating the work between Business and IT when it comes to data excellence
- Support the IDP Coordinator on improving, promoting and communicating the DP&I strategy and helping the company in becoming more data literate.
- Present to stakeholders the bigger picture (overall concepts) without losing touch with specific technical details. For this a solid technical background is a requirement
- Your main responsibility is getting things done to improve overall data quality. Therefore, the person we are looking for :
- is a Self-motivated problem-solver who tackles challenges head-on, is able to balance multiple topics at once, is well-organized and can independently assess priorities for self and team
- is result driven and has a curious mindset to dive into details on how systems and integrations work.
- is patient, resilient and has a keen eye for details
- is data savvy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics or similar
- Very good communication skills.
- Experience working in cross functional teams with an agile mindset.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases / data structures
- Understanding of data compliance in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in Veeva CRM (frontend user + backend data)
- Language: Fluency in oral and written English; further language skills would be an asset.
Nice to have :
- Skilled in SQL, Tableau and data visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
